The opening ceremony of the Regional Green Issue Exchange and Visit Program 2025 in Vietnam

On December 8, 2025, the Lao Journalists’ Association, the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, and CARE Laos held the opening ceremony for the Regional Green Issue Exchange and Visit Program 2025 for 10 representatives under the GAMCIL project in Vietnam. All participants were smiling brightly and full of enthusiasm to begin this valuable exchange!

The team received a warm and friendly welcome from the representatives of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, creating a positive first impression. This visit opens the door to new forms of cooperation, offering a crucial opportunity to learn lessons from Vietnamese experts in environmental media production, who shared on the following topics: an overview of the environment, current green issues, utilizing digital media beneficially for media work, and upgrading media work to be more modern.
