GAMCIL Project visits and exchanges lessons with Hanoi University of Science and Technology

Hanoi, Vietnam – On December 12, 2025, in an atmosphere of excitement and comprehensive learning, the Lao Journalists Association, along with CARE Laos, with 10 representatives from the GAMCIL project to visit the strategic Microplastic Pollution Research Lab at the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH)!

The delegation received a warm welcome from Ms. Mai Huong, Deputy Head of the Department of Technology and Environment at USTH, who proceeded to uncover the secrets behind the research:

• Microplastics: The Invisible Threat! Ms. Mai Huong revealed without reservation how these tiny plastic particles are causing severe damage to humans and the environment.

This visit marks a crucial cooperation to bring scientific truths to the public! USTH affirmed that solving environmental issues must begin with the awakening of everyone! This event served to elevate communication between the scientific research institute and the public, making the complex environmental problem something everyone can understand and access.
