Provincial Coordination Meeting 

On September 15, 2026, the project’s provincial coordinator meeting was officially convened, bringing together representatives from all three target provinces: Vientiane Capital, Luang Prabang, and Champasak. The primary objective of the meeting was to reflect on past implementation, review overall progress, and collaboratively define future directions and action plans to ensure they are effective, aligned, and truly aligned with project goals. Throughout the meeting, participants evaluated operational drivers and constraints, exchanging valuable best practices from their field experiences across the three provinces. Clear, cooperative plans were established to ensure future activities achieve target outcomes and address the specific needs of project participants. 

Following this, 14 Youth Ambassadors for Green Development were officially appointed. The objective of these volunteer youth ambassadors is to serve as representatives in mobilizing and inspiring their peers to promote environmental awareness, apply and disseminate the high-quality Green Journalism standards of the GAMCIL project, and engage Lao youth through digital media tools and community participation activities.
