GAMCIL Project visits and exchanges lessons with VietnamPlus Online Newspaper

11 December 2025 at noon, LJA and CARE Laos led a delegation of participants from the GAMCIL Project visited VietnamPlus, a leading online Vietnam News Agency.

The knowledge exchange session was honored by the presence of Mr. Trần Thiện Quân (Trần Chiến Dũng) [Trần Chiến Dũng is commonly used for the Editor-in-Chief], Editor-in-Chief of VietnamPlus Online Newspaper, who presided over the meeting and extended a warm welcome. Additionally, Mr. Võ Mạnh delivered lessons and answered questions during the exchange with representatives from the Lao PDR.

The delegation also studied the practical operations of the online newsroom, particularly the production of Multimedia content and methods for managing news to effectively reach audiences across various platforms. The experience gained from VietnamPlus is critically important in opening new perspectives on efficiently transitioning traditional media into the digital age.

VietnamPlus is highlighted as an excellent example of utilizing innovation and new technologies in digital-era news production. The lessons from this leading online news agency will serve as an invaluable foundation for the future development of Lao media, through the continued dissemination of knowledge by the 10 representatives from the Lao PDR.
