Semi-Annual Meeting for the Green Action through Media, Mass Organization and Civil Society in Laos (GAMCIL) for the First Six Months and Planning for the Last Six Months 2026 

On September 15, 2026, the GAMCIL Project officially held a meeting to review the implementation of activities for the first 6 months (March – August 2026) and outline the work plan for the second 6 months (September 2026 – February 2027). The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Somsack Sakounkham, Deputy Head of the Mass Media Department, Commission for Information and Educational of the Central Committee, Mr. Savankhone Razmountry, President of the Lao Journalists Association, and Ms. Bouakham Douangpanya, GAMCIL Project Manager as well as participants from provincial coordinators from three provinces, representatives from the project management committee, mass organizations and  both Lao journalists and citizen journalists. The meeting aimed to report on key achievements, discuss challenges faced in target areas, and jointly formulate the upcoming 6-month work plan to ensure all project goals are met. As a result, participants successfully reviewed past accomplishments, addressed outstanding issues, reached a consensus on the next six-month plan, and strengthened coordination and collaboration with partners.
