Green Issues Media Competition Meeting

On August 6, 2026, the Lao Journalists Association, in collaboration with CARE Laos, organized a design of Green Issues Media Competition Meeting under the GAMCIL project. The meeting was held with the cooperation of Commission for Information and Education of the Central Committee; Mr. Savankhone Razmountry, President of the Lao Journalists’ Association; and Ms. Bouakham Douangpanya, GAMCIL Project Manager, along with state media experts and experienced online media creators, to define the topics, eligibility criteria, and submission formats in detail.

Following the consultation and input provided on the competition guidelines, the project will officially announce the competition on online media platforms for general citizens and civil society organizations, while also sending formal invitations to state media journalists to submit their entries for consideration and final selection of the top outstanding works.
