GAMCIL Project Annual Review 2025 and Strategic Planning 2026-27

On February 25, 2026, the GAMCIL Project successfully concluded its Annual Review Meeting for 2025 and Strategic Planning for 2026-27.

The meeting was honorably co-chaired by Mr. Savankhone Razmountry, President of the Lao Journalists’ Association, and Ms. Phaivanh Channgakham, Program Director of CARE International in Lao PDR.

The event brought together key representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Environment, the Implementation Management Committee, and media professionals from three target provinces: Luang Prabang, Vientiane, and Champasak. Furthermore, participants included representatives from Mass Organizations, civil society organizations (CSOs), and citizen journalists.

Key Objectives: Summarize achievements and challenges in project implementation throughout 2025, collaboratively develop the activity plan for the 2026-27 fiscal year and exchange implementation methodologies to ensure all shared goals are met.

This meeting marks a significant milestone in strengthening the collaboration between the government, international organizations, the media, and civil society to drive the GAMCIL project toward its envisioned success!
