Lao Journalists’ Association (LJA) and CARE International in Laos

On October 14, 2025, the Lao Journalists’ Association (LJA) and CARE International in Laos successfully conducted a meeting to design of Green Issues Media Competition under the Green Action through Media, Mass Organization and Civil Society in Laos Project (GAMCIL).

The purpose of the meeting was to jointly design the criteria and standards for the news writing competition to be more complete for the three target groups: private sector journalists, mass organizations/civil society organizations, and citizen journalists.

Crucially, this initiative will help them produce high-quality media content about green development that accurately reflects the objectives of the project.
